Microcirculation architecture of metatae from primary ciliary body and choroidal melanoma

PURPOE: To decribe the microcirculation architecture of metatatic choroidal and ciliary body melanoma. METHOD: Hitologic ection of 35 metatae from 19 primary melanoma were tained to demontrate microcirculation. REULT: The appearance of microcirculatory network in metatae i independent of the target organ but aociated with the ize of the metatatic depoit (etimated coefficient = 0.5959; E = 0.3024; P = .0488). CONCLUION: The microcirculatory pattern of primary uveal melanoma that are aociated with metatatic behavior appear in foci of metatai, regardle of the ite of diemination.
