Abstract
PURPOE: We examined a patient with acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy and bilateral central retinal vein occluion.
METHOD: Cae report. A 28-year-old woman preented with the typical finding of acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy. One month after preentation, the patient developed bilateral central retinal vein occluion.
REULT: Four month after preentation, reolution of the bilateral central retinal vein occluion reulted in a corrected viual acuity of RE, 20/25 and LE, 3/400.
CONCLUION: Vaculiti, ometime aociated with acute poterior multifocal placoid pigment epitheliopathy, can affect the ciliary veel that upply the optic dik. Thi may reult in axoplamic tai and compreion of the central retinal vein, leading to impending or complete central retinal vein occluion.
