Congenital clerocorneal epithelial cyt

PURPOE: To report a cae of congenital intracleral epithelial cyt. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 3-year-old boy preented with a limbal cyt noticed at birth. The cyt enlarged over the next 3image year and diected into the cornea, compromiing the viual axi. Exciion of the cyt improved the patient’ bet-corrected viual acuity in the left eye from 20/80 to 20/30. Upon hitopathology, the cyt wall wa lined by conjunctival epithelium. CONCLUION: Thi congenital intracleral epithelial cyt later enlarged and diected into the cornea. We believe that the cyt developed econdary to congenital equetration of conjunctival epithelium.
