inu hitiocytoi preenting a bilateral epibulbar mae

PURPOE: To report a cae of inu hitiocytoi preenting a multiple, bilateral epibulbar mae. METHOD: We examined a 4-year-old child with a 2-month hitory of gradually enlarging, almon-colored epibulbar mae. Exciional biopie and a ytemic evaluation were performed. REULT: ytemic evaluation wa normal; no lymphadenopathy wa documented. Hitopathologic evaluation dicloed feature conitent with inu hitiocytoi. Flow cytometry and gene rearrangement tudie confirmed the benign nature of the dieae. No tumor recurrence wa noted. CONCLUION: inu hitiocytoi may preent a iolated epibulbar mae that may be treated with urgical exciion.
