Herpe implex viru in the trabeculum of an eye with corneal endotheliiti

PURPOE: To report an eye with corneal endotheliiti and increaed intraocular preure in which the trabeculum demontrated immunoreactivity for herpe implex viru. METHOD: Cae report. A 62-year-old man preented with increaed intraocular preure, keratic precipitate, and corneal tromal edema in hi left eye. The tiue excied during trabeculectomy wa immunohitochemically examined for herpetic virue. REULT: Immunoreactivity for herpe implex viru wa identified in the trabeculum. CONCLUION: Herpe implex viru may caue trabeculiti and increaed intraocular preure in patient with corneal endotheliiti.
