Purtcher-like retinopathy aociated with pancreatic adenocarcinoma

PURPOE: To invetigate a cae of Purtcher-like retinopathy that occurred in aociation with pancreatic adenocarcinoma. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 63-year-old woman preented with multiple gray patche in the central viion of both eye. Viual acuity wa 20/20 in both eye. Funducopy howed large peripapillary yellow-white patche within the uperficial retina and mall uperficial retinal hemorrhage in both eye. The patient ubequently had abdominal pain. Computed tomography of the abdomen demontrated a large pancreatic ma with extenion into the liver. Hitologic examination of a percutaneou needle biopy pecimen howed mucinou pancreatic adenocarcinoma. CONCLUION: Pancreatic adenocarcinoma hould be added to the lit of ytemic dieae that can be aociated with Purtcher-like retinopathy.
