Abstract
PURPOE: To decribe a patient with an oculomotor nerve chwannoma who had ymptom of ophthalmoplegic migraine.
METHOD: Cae report.
REULT: A 23-year-old woman had a hitory of recurrent headache accompanied by tranient right oculomotor paly ince age 7 year. Ophthalmoplegic migraine wa diagnoed. he wa ubequently found to have a tructural leion of her right oculomotor nerve on magnetic reonance imaging. The magnetic reonance image characteritic were conitent with chwannoma originating from the oculomotor nerve.
CONCLUION: Thi cae illutrate that an intrinic leion of the oculomotor nerve (chwannoma) may be aociated with a painful relaping-remitting oculomotor paly mimicking the clinical yndrome of ophthalmoplegic migraine.
