Bilateral blindne a the initial preentation of lymphoma of the phenoid inu

PURPOE: To report a patient with large-cell lymphoma of the phenoid inu preenting with bilateral blindne and no other ign or ymptom. METHOD: Cae report. A previouly healthy 5-year-old boy complained of udden viion lo without other ytemic complaint. REULT: Ophthalmologic examination revealed no light perception bilaterally. The pupil of the patient were fixed at 8 mm without reaction to the brightet light timulu. ytemic examination wa unremarkable, and neuroimaging revealed a large phenoid tumor extending intracranially. Biopy of the tumor proved to be large-cell lymphoma. CONCLUION: Large-cell lymphoma affecting children may preent initially with blindne, without other ytemic ymptom.
