Air bag–induced corneal flap fold after laer in itu keratomileui

PURPOE: We decribe a cae of air bag–induced ocular trauma reulting in fold in the corneal flap 3 week after laer in itu keratomileui. METHOD: Cae report. Three week after laer in itu keratomileui, a 20-year-old man wa involved in a motor vehicle accident and utained blunt trauma to the right eye, which caued corneal flap fold, corneal edema, anterior chamber cellular reaction, and Berlin retinal edema. REULT: ix week after laer in itu keratomileui, peritent flap fold neceitated re-operation with lifting of the flap and repoitioning. One week after the procedure, the viual acuity improved to 20/20-2, and the fold had cleared. CONCLUION: Trauma after laer in itu keratomileui may produce fold in the corneal flap. With peritence of thee fold, management by lifting and repoitioning the corneal flap may be neceary to permit recovery of viual acuity.
