Optic dik pallor and retinal atrophy in oto yndrome (cerebral gigantim)

PURPOE: To report a cae of oto yndrome (cerebral gigantim) with megalophthalmo, optic dik pallor, and retinal atrophy. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: A 22-year-old man wa diagnoed with oto yndrome with optic atrophy. Hi corneal diameter were 13 mm horizontally, and hi optic dik were pale. Hi retinal veel were attenuate in diameter, and mall white pot were found on the retina. The reult of a Goldmann viual field tet were normal. Hi viually evoked potential to flah timuli howed extended latent time and normal amplitude. Keratometry wa 40.5 diopter (8.33 mm) in both eye. The axial length wa 25.9 mm in the right eye and 25.4 mm in the left eye. CONCLUION: oto yndrome may be aociated with optic dik pallor and retinal atrophy.
