Vitreoretinal traction maculopathy caued by retinal dieae

PURPOE: To tudy the morphological finding of vitreoretinal traction maculopathy caued by retinal vacular dieae and their change after vitrectomy. METHOD: Optical coherence tomographic image of 13 eye of 12 cae were evaluated before and after vitrectomy. REULT: The tractional force appeared to be mainly tangential with a poible anterior vector in 11 eye, and mainly in the anterior direction in 2 eye. After urgery, the increaed foveal thickne decreaed markedly in all eye, and viual acuity improved in 8 eye. CONCLUION: Preoperative optical coherence tomographic examination can reveal the fine tructure of vitreoretinal eparation and adherence caued by retinal vacular dieae. Thee obervation permitted better urgical planning and reult.
