PURPOE: To report the cae of a previouly healthy young female who developed orbital celluliti caued by Fuobacterium necrophorum. We are unaware of previou report of thi condition caued by the ame anaerobic, gram-negative, nonporeforming bacterium and could find no reference to it in a computer earch uing MEDLINE. METHOD: Cae report. REULT: In the cae of orbital celluliti preented here, the patient required 3 inu debridement operation and 30 day of intravenou antibiotic.
