  • Abstract
    PURPOE: To report three patient who developed central erou chorioretinopathy after epidural corticoteroid injection for treatment of back pain. DEIGN: Interventional cae erie. METHOD: Three men, aged 73, 52, and 73 year, preented with bilateral central erou chorioretinopathy after corticoteroid injection in the epidural pace for treatment of back pain. In all three cae, we did not initially elicit the hitory of corticoteroid ue. REULT: Two of the three patient, aged 52 and 73 year, had diffue retinal pigment epitheliopathy and one, aged 73 year, had claic central erou chorioretinopathy. Two patient had a pontaneou reolution of the ubretinal fluid in both eye. One patient had laer photocoagulation in both eye but continued to have diffue leakage in one eye. CONCLUION: A careful hitory to determine corticoteroid ue, including poible intrajoint and epidural injection, hould be performed in older people with erou detachment of the macula, particularly when bilateral
