Retinal and choroidal arterial occluion in Wegener’ granulomatoi

PURPOE: To decribe a patient with Wegener’ granulomatoi preenting with bilateral retinal and choroidal arterial occluion. METHOD: A 64-year-old male with Wegener’ granulomatoi wa examined uing ophthalmocopy and indocyanine green angiography. REULT: The patient had central retinal arterial occluion in the right eye and branch retinal arterial occluion in the left eye aociated with bilateral choroidal infarct. Early phae wide-angle ICG angiography of left eye revealed widepread choroidal perfuion problem, preumably from the confluence of multiple egmental arterial occluion. Indocyanine green angiography of the right eye howed imilar widepread choroidal arterial occluion. CONCLUION: Thi patient developed lo of viion from multiple arterial occluion of the retina and choroid. Retinal and choroidal ichemia of thi patient may have been caued by vaculiti leading to occluion of retinal arterie and multiple hort poterior ciliary arterie
