Gorham dieae of the orbit

PURPOE: To report a cae of Gorham dieae, alo known a vanihing bone dieae, of the orbit. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: A 43-year-old Caucaian woman developed a depreion in her left temple, pulation in her left upper eyelid and temple, and bulging of the left upper eyelid and headache. Computerized tomography revealed a lytic leion in the roof of the left orbit. REULT: Intraoperative examination of the leion revealed a bony defect in the left orbital roof. urgical intervention reulted in improvement of her ymptom, and pathology failed to reveal evidence of malignancy or other benign neoplatic proce. CONCLUION: Gorham dieae hould be conidered in the differential diagnoi of lytic bony leion of the orbit
