PURPOE: To decribe a cae of cleriti with choroidal detachment a the initial clinical manifetation of graft-veru-hot dieae after allogenic bone marrow tranplantation. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: Review of clinical record. REULT: A 50-year-old man developed ymptom of mild dry eye yndrome 20 day after receiving a one-antigen-mimatched allogenic bone marrow tranplant. Five day later, he developed orbital pain, moderate viual lo, and a terile orbital abce on the left ide. The orbital inflammatory collection wa drained, and ymptom improved. On day 41 after bone marrow tranplantation, the patient developed evere ocular pain and cleral thickening with econdary choroidal detachment and glaucoma in the right eye. The patient had no ytemic ign of graft-veru-hot dieae at thi time. The ocular ymptom and ign reponded remarkably well to intravenou corticoteroid. ix month after bone marrow tranplantation, while receiving low-doe oral methylpredniolone, the patient developed a kin rah. A biopy of the involved kin confirmed the diagnoi of graft-veru-hot dieae. CONCLUION: cleriti can be the initial clinical manifetation of graft-veru-hot dieae after allogenic bone marrow tranplantation.
