Refractory intraocular preure increae after phakic poterior chamber intraocular len implantation

PURPOE: To decribe a complication reulting from the implantation of a poterior chamber intraocular len in a phakic eye. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: We examined a 37-year-old woman with evere myopia who had implantation of a phakic poterior chamber intraocular len. REULT: The patient developed pigmentary glaucoma with refractory increae in intraocular preure, depitemedical therapy and intraocular len removal. Trabeculectomy wa required to reduce the preure. CONCLUION: Thi cae demontrate that pigmentary glaucoma econdary to implantation of a phakic poterior chamber intraocular len can lead to filtering urgery to decreae intraocular preure
