evere hypotony after macular tranlocation urgery with 360-degree retinotomy

PURPOE: To report a cae of evere hypotony after macular tranlocation with 360-degree retinotomy. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: A 50-year-old woman with myopic neovacular maculopathy underwent macular tranlocation with 360-degree retinotomy in her left eye. REULT: After the econd procedure of ilicone oil removal, evere hypotony developed. No clear ign of leakage wa found. Pure perfluoropropane ga tamponade wa then performed, which reulted in temporal reolution of evere hypotony, but the hypotony recurred a the ga bubble wa aborbed. Ten week after the econd urgery, the hypotonou eye wa refilled with ilicone oil. No apparent cyclitic membrane wa oberved intraoperatively. After thi procedure, the choroidal and retinal fold regreed; intraocular preure ha been between 5 and 7 mm Hg for more than 4 month thereafter. CONCLUION: evere hypotony can occur a a complication of otherwie uneventful macular tranlocation with 360-degree retinotomy.
