Abstract
PURPOE: To report two patient affected with ytemic lupu erythematou choroidopathy tudied with combined fluorecein angiography and indocyanine green angiography. In particular, the preence of choroidal abnormalitie at indocyanine green angiography, which could not be detected by fluorecein angiography, wa tudied.
DEIGN: Obervational cae report.
METHOD: Retropective review of the clinical and photographic record of two patient with ytemic lupu erythematou in whom choroidopathy developed.
REULT: Four finding were unveiled by indocyanine green angiography: focal, tranient hypofluorecent area in the very early phae; fuzzine of large choroidal veel with late diffue zonal choroidal hyperfluorecence; poorly-defined area of choroidal hypofluorecence viible up to the late phae; and focal cluter of pinpoint pot of choroidal hyperfluorecence viible from the intermediate to late phae.
CONCLUION: Indocyanine green angiography can provide information that i not detectable by clinical or fluorecein angiographic examination in patient with ytemic lupu erythematou choroidopathy. Thi information may prove ueful in better undertanding the pathogenei of ytemic lupu erythematou choroidopathy.
