Choroidal metatai from medullary thyroid carcinoma in multiple endocrine neoplaia

PURPOE: To report choroidal metatai from medullary thyroid carcinoma in a patient with multiple endocrine neoplaia (MEN) type 2b. DEIGN: Interventional cae report. METHOD: Medullary thyroid carcinoma developed in a 20-year-old woman and led to the diagnoi of MEN 2b. he had mucoal neuroma on the lip and tongue and prominent corneal nerve in both eye. Right choroidal metatai developed when he wa 36 year of age. REULT: The eye wa treated with irradiation, but 9 month later the patient died of widepread metatae. CONCLUION: In patient with MEN type 2b, choroidal metatai can develop from medullary thyroid carcinoma. Although fundu abnormalitie typically do not occur with MEN 2b, choroidal metatai from medullary thyroid carcinoma i a potential fundu finding.
