Purpoe To report the ue of photodynamic therapy for treating a choroidal neovacular membrane econdary to thermal laer photocoagulation. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 61-year-old man with a choroidal neovacular membrane econdary to thermal laer photocoagulation for diabetic macular edema wa treated with photodynamic therapy. Reult ubjective and objective improvement in viual acuity and improvement of fluorecein angiogram have been demontrated for more than a year after treatment. Concluion Photodynamic therapy may be ueful for treating patient with choroidal neovacularization econdary to thermal laer photocoagulation.
