Choroidal metatai from adenoid cytic carcinoma of the lung

Purpoe We report a cae of a choroidal metatai from an adenoid cytic carcinoma of the lung. Deign Interventional cae report. Method A 40-year old man, 9 month’ tatu potreection of a bronchial adenoid cytic carcinoma, wa diagnoed by clinical evaluation and fine-needle apiration biopy and treated with palladium-103 ophthalmic plaque brachytherapy. Reult Thi unuual patient with uveal metatai from adenoid cytic carcinoma preented with decreaed viion in the right eye and a diaphanou amelanotic choroidal tumor in the uperotemporal macula. Ultraound revealed a dome-haped tumor that meaured 4.0 mm in apical height and 11 × 10 mm in baal diameter. Fluorecein angiography revealed a double circulation and late intene ubretinal fluorecence. Plaque brachytherapy provided local control and preervation of the eye. Concluion Bronchogenic adenoid cytic carcinoma can metataize to the choroid.
