Chryeobacterium meningoepticum keratiti

Purpoe To decribe a cae of a corneal ulcer caued by Chryeobacterium meningoepticum in an eye without ignificant comorbiditie. Deign Interventional cae report. Method Retropective cae review. Reult A 48-year-old man preented with a corneal ulcer in hi right eye and wa treated with ofloxacin and fortified bacitracin ophthalmic olution. Culture grew C. meningoepticum, and the infection reolved. Two previou cae report in the literature have decribed ocular infection with thi bacterium, both in potoperative patient with ignificant ocular comorbiditie. Concluion Thi i the firt report of ocular infection with C. meningoepticum in an eye with no ignificant comorbiditie.
