Purpoe In thi tudy, we aimed to invetigate the mucular bridge between the inferior oblique (IO) and inferior rectu (IR) mucle of the eye. Deign Cohort tudy. Method The orbit of ixty intact cadaver with no hitory of eye mucle or orbital diorder during life were carefully diected to expoe the mucular bridge between the IO and IR mucle. Number of the bridge, their length and width were recorded. Reult We oberved mucular bridge between IO and IR mucle in 6.6% of 60 orbit. They originated from the lateral ide of the IR mucle, and joined to poteromedial ide of the IO mucle. Mean length and width were 14.2 ± 6.3 and 1.3 ± 0.2 mm, repectively. Concluion Mucular bridge were found in 6.6% of orbit diected. We conclude that mucular bridge are important due to potential caue of failed IO or IR mucle urgery. In thi repect, before urgery of the extraocular mucle, the mucular bridge hould be kept in mind and demontrated by computed tomography or magnetic reonance imaging in tranvere, agittal, and coronal plane
