Deign
Propective obervational tudy
Method
The tudy included 101 healthy ubject who had never undergone automated perimetry and who were adminitered the C-20-1 verion of the frequency doubling technology. ubject who returned an abnormal or unreliable tet were reteted until a normal reult wa obtained.
Reult
Ninety-even ubject (96%) returned a normal examination after one tet, and 99 (98%) did o after two tet. Two ubject had abnormal initial tet, and two other had unreliable tet. Thee four ubject required repeat (up to four) teting to return a normal tet.
Concluion
A mall percentage of perimetric novice will demontrate a learning effect uing C-20-1 perimetry, but thi mode ha high pecificity appropriate for glaucoma creening.
