We ued the weep viual evoked potential to determine whether vernier acuity i normal in children with delayed viual maturation (DVM). Deign Cae erie of two infant. Method Threhold for grating and vernier acuity were meaured electrophyiologically in two infant with DVM uing the weep viual evoked potential. Acuity threhold were calculated for each of thee viual function. Reult Two infant with DVM had normal threhold for grating and vernier acuity, even though their viual behavior a determined clinically wa abnormal. Concluion ome children with DVM have normal acuity threhold, even though the behavior aociated with viion are delayed or abent.
