Deep anterior lamellar keratoplaty in a patient with decemetocele following gonococcal keratiti

Purpoe To decribe the preentation and ubequent management of a cae of evere gonococcal keratiti in a young man. Deign Cae report. Method A young man preented with evere gonococcal keratiti. Topical and ytemic antibiotic were given with no improvement, and progreive corneal melting wa noted. Deep lamellar keratoplaty wa performed. The clarity and tate of corneal graft and the potoperative viual acuity were noted. Reult At 6 month pottreatment, the graft wa clear, and no recurrence of infection wa noticed. Corrected viual acuity wa 20/25. Concluion Deep lamellar keratoplaty hould be conidered a a therapeutic option in patient with evere gonococcal keratiti that doe not repond to antibiotic treatment.
