  • Abstract
    A retropective cae erie of even patient with golf-related eye injurie treated in Autrian hopital over the lat even year wa evaluated. Five men and two woman received treatment. The mean age wa 46 year, three of the patient had blunt cloe globe trauma, and four uffered a ruptured globe. Following the injurie, the patientʹ initial viual acuity ranged from no light perception to 20/40. All of the patient required urgery, with the pot-operative viual acuity ranging from hand motion to 20/20. Three eye required enucleation. Viual outcome from urgery for golf related injurie i uually poor and there i a high enucleation rate. Ruptured globe had a wore prognoi than cloe blunt trauma. Becaue of the evere reulting complication of golf-related ocular injurie, the author believe that eye protection hould be conidered.—Han E. Groniklau
