Ultraound Biomicrocopy in the Diagnoi and Management of Intraocular Gnathotomiai

Purpoe To decribe the ue of ultraound biomicrocopy in the identification of an intraocular nematode in a cae of upected nematode-induced uveiti Deign Obervational cae report. Method UBM wa performed under topical anetheia in a patient with acute painful uveiti upected to reult from an intraocular nematode. Clinical examination did not reveal the nematode. Reult Over a 6-minute time pan, erial UBM examination revealed the nematode to move from the iri root into the poterior chamber through the zonule. ubequently, it wa een adhering to the cornea and could be removed urgically, reulting in ymptom relief. Concluion UBM i a ueful tool in diagnoi and management of paraitic uveiti.
