Bilateral equential Photodynamic Therapy for ub-retinal Neovacularization With Type 2A Parafoveal Telangiectai

Purpoe To report the reult of repeated bilateral equential photodynamic therapy (PDT) with verteporfin for ub-retinal neovacularization aociated with parafoveal telengiectaia. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method Three patient (minimum of 6-month follow-up) were analyzed after bilateral equential PDT for parafoveal telengiectaia-aociated ub-retinal neovacularization. Reult Mean age wa 53.3 ± 2.1 year. Mean and median follow-up duration were 12.3 and 10 month, repectively. Mean initial Early Treatment of Diabetic Retinopathy tudy chart letter acuity wa 30.6 in right eye and 19 in left eye, and at month 6, it wa 30.6 in right eye and 22.3 in left eye. All patient received bilateral treatment three time; one eye received a fourth treatment. The greatet linear diameter wa between 2310 and 5400 μm. Concluion PDT i a viable treatment for ub-retinal neovacularization aociated with parafoveal telengiectaia. Bilateral equential treatment i a convenient way to treat bilateral dieae.
