Abstract
Purpoe
To report on the treatment of primary mucoa-aociated lymphoid tumor (MALT)/low grade lymphoma of the conjunctiva/orbit treated olely with ytemic antibiotic.
Deign
Retropective interventional cae erie.
Method
Three adult patient with biopy/marker proven MALT lymphoma of the conjunctiva/orbit were treated with ytemic antibiotic and followed for ign of local or ytemic relape.
Reult
All three patient howed a repone to antibiotic baed on clinical, ultraonographic, and MRI/CT imaging tudie. Two patient have had complete remiion (42 month follow-up) and one a partial remiion (18 month). No ytemic relape have occurred.
Concluion
MALT/low grade lymphoma of the conjunctiva/orbit repond to ytemic antibiotic therapy and may have complete remiion.
