Purpoe To decribe a technique for the prevention of pontaneou lo of lacrimal punctal plug. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method Four conecutive patient (10 puncta in even eye) with evere dry eye who experienced repeated pontaneou plug lo underwent punctal occluion by uturing plug with 10–0 polypropylene uture. Reult All punctal plug were fitted to lacrimal puncta by anchoring the uture. Plug retention rate wa 80% at 6 month after the procedure. Concluion uturing punctal plug i effective in the production of long-term punctal cloure in patient with repeated pontaneou plug lo.
