Reolution of Pityriai Rubra Pilari-Induced Cicatricial Ectropion With ytemic Low-Doe Methotrexate

Purpoe To report a cae of pityriai rubra pilari (PRP)-induced bilateral lower eyelid cicatricial ectropion that reolved with ytemic low-doe methotrexate. Deign Obervational cae report. Method A retropective cae review of a patient with cicatricial ectropion caued by PRP. Reult A 82-year-old female preented with bilateral lower eyelid cicatricial ectropion econdary to PRP. The patient did not ytemically repond to conventional oral retinoid therapy. he wa treated with low-doe methotrexate and experienced dramatic reolution of her ign and ymptom, including complete reolution of her bilateral cicatricial ectropion. Concluion ytemic treatment of PRP with low-doe methotrexate may reult in ucceful treatment of cicatricial ectropion without urgery.
