Viualization of Aqueou hunt Poition and Patency Uing Anterior egment Optical Coherence Tomography

Purpoe To decribe the ue of anterior egment optical coherence tomography (A-OCT) to clarify the poition and patency of aqueou hunt device in the anterior chamber of eye where corneal edema or tube poition doe not permit a atifactory view. Deign Noncomparative obervational cae erie. Method Four cae are reported in which aqueou hunt malpoition or obtruction wa upected but the hunt could not be een on clinical examination. The patient underwent A-OCT to identify the poition and patency of the hunt tip. Reult In each cae, A-OCT provided data regarding tube poition and/or patency that could not be obtained by lit-lamp examination or by goniocopy that influenced management. Concluion A-OCT can be ued to viualize anterior chamber tube in the preence of corneal edema that preclude an adequate view or in cae where the tube i retracted into the cornea. In uch cae, A-OCT i ueful in identifying hunt patency and poition, which help guide clinical deciion making.
