Reult Of the 381 patient who received periocular anethetic injection under intravenou edation, 19 (5%) exhibited a vigorou neeze. Converely, none of the 341 patient who received periocular anethetic injection without intravenou edation neezed (P ≤ .001). Concluion urgeon, anetheia taff, and other operating room peronnel hould be aware of thi unuual and potentially dangerou neeze phenomenon when periocular anethetic injection are delivered under intravenou edation to reduce potential ocular complication.
