Purpoe To evaluate the role of intratromal injection of voriconazole in the management of deep recalcitrant fungal keratiti. Deign Interventional cae erie. Method etting: Cornea ervice at a tertiary care teaching hopital. Patient: Three eye of three patient with deep tromal recalcitrant fungal keratiti not reponding to topical antifungal medication. Intervention Procedure: Voriconazole 50 microgram/0.1 ml wa injected circumferentially around the fungal abce in the corneal troma a an adjunctive to the topical antifungal therapy. Main Outcome Meaure: Main outcome meaure wa a reduction in ize of the abce and reolution of the infection. Reult Before the intracorneal injection, all three eye had gradually worening leion on topical medication. After the intervention, a fater reduction in the ize of corneal infiltration wa documented and a complete reolution of the ulcer wa een within three week in all cae. Concluion Targeted delivery of voriconazole by intracorneal injection may be a afe and effective way to treat cae of deep-eated recalcitrant fungal keratiti reponding poorly to conventional treatment modalitie.
