Abstract
Disseminated intravascular coagulopathy is a serious complication of pregnancy. Therapy includes treating the underlying cause, maintenance of blood volume, replacement of depleted clotting factors, and often delivery of the fetus and placenta. We present a case of disseminated intravascular coagulopathy occurring at 19 weeks’ gestation that resolved spontaneously with conservative management. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 1999;181:759-60.)
