Abstract
Intravenous leiomyomatosis is a rare benign neoplasm that commonly grows into the pelvic veins and the inferior vena cava and, rarely, the right side of the heart. We report the first case of intravenous leiomyomatosis with cardiac involvement in a pregnant woman. The treatment of choice is surgical resection in two steps. (Am J Obstet Gynecol 1998;178:620-1.)
