Total colony count, mould and yeast count, coliform count and Staph. aureus counts were determined with and without addition of hydrogen peroxide to chillers water and the reduction percent in the microbial counts were detected. It was concluded that hydrogen peroxide Results indicate superior activity of hydrogen peroxide as a powerful and versatile sanitizer for poultry carcass.
