On General Sum-Connectivity Index of Benzenoid Systems and Phenylenes

شاخص همبندي حاصل‌جمع عمومي گراف G را با نشان داده و با تعريف مي‌كنيم كه در آن du درجه‌ي راس u است. در اين مقاله فرمول‌هاي مناسبي براي محاسبه شاخص همبندي حاصل‌جمع عمومي دستگاه‌هاي بنزني و فنيلن‌هاي آن‌ها ارايه شده است و رابطه‌اي بين شاخص همبندي حاصل‌جمع عمومي يك فنيلن و شش‌ضلعي فشرده متناظر آن بدست آمده است.

The general sum-connectivity index of a graph G, denoted by is defined as , where du (or dv) is the degree of the vertex u (or v). Efficient formulas for calculating the general sum-connectivity index of benzenoid systems and their phenylenes are given, and a relation is established between the general sum-connectivity index of a phenylene and of the corresponding hexagonal squeeze in this paper.
