Economics of Adaptation: Building Farmers Adaptative Capability to tame Climate Change in Uganda

Uganda and the entire African continent have an opportunity to tame advances of climate change. Leveraging technologies like mobile phones, community radios to deepen adaptation knowledge and information will empower rural populations and mostly farmers to cope and turn climate change into an economic opportunity. Farmer associations are key and strategic gatekeepers to reach to farmers and getting them to act and respond collectively. Therefore, their relevance in undertaking climate change adaptation strategies is indelible.
