  • Abstract
Developing dependable systems is one of the ways of combating rising complexity in computing systems. The increasing failure of developers and software engineers to face head-on of this anomaly has led to human and huge economic waste in the form of system failures. Softwareʹs increasing role creates both requirements for being able to trust it more than before, and for more people to know how much they can trust their software. To building Dependable software, the concept of Safety and System Requirement Engineering will be used to form a strong base from where the processes of development will emanate. The concept of Object- Oriented system (object oriented design, object oriented analysis) will be explored through a thorough Software Engineering approach to achieve a dependable software. Whereas the existing software in the industries will explore software re-engineering and reverse engineering to move their businesses forward. Reverse engineering involves the extraction of design elements from an existing system, but does not involve modifying the target system or generating new systems. An aggregate of all these processes will produce a system that will be dependable: reliable, having high availability and safety, supporting continuous and future developments which will become the opposite of poorly and faulty developed software.
