Patient safety training programs and the effectiveness of training in the Taiwanese medical industry

This research aims to understand the factors influencing the transfer of training, establish model of training design, traineeʹs characteristics, and work environment with transfer of training effect. Taking all colleagues in a teaching hospital in Taiwan as the objects, applying valid 866 copies of questionnaires recovered through online investigation, response rate is 45%. Through empirical analysis, this research finds that training design, traineeʹs characteristics, and work environment had positive and significant relationships with the motivation of training transfer and the motivation of training transfer positively related to transfer of training. The theoretical and practical implications were discussed.
