Abstract
New receptors fac-[Re(CO)3(pz)3]BArʹ4(pz = 3,5-dimethylpyrazole or 3(5)-tert-butylpyrazole, Arʹ= 3,5-(CF3)2C6H3), synthesized from [Re(OTf)(CO)5] and the pyrazoles, have been found to show a high affinity for chloride.
