Diophantine Unsolvability over p-Adic Function Fields Original Research Article

We show Diophantine undecidability for F(t) where F is a characteristic zero Local field associated to an odd prime or one of its subfields. In the process, we give decision methods for isotropy of a class of quadratic forms over single variable national function fields.
