Abstract
A unique, highly charged cationic bismuth fluoro cluster [Bi6F11]^7+, embedded in the complex crystal structure of (Se4)^2+[Bi6F11]^7+[AsF6–]9·10 SO2, was synthesized from Bi2Se3 and AsF5 in liquid SO2.
