Almost Beimageout Domains .II. Original Research Article

This paper is a continuation of the investigation of almost Bézout domains (for a, b isin; R - {0}, there exists an n ≥ 1 with (an, bn) principal) begun by Zafrullah and the first author. We show that a nearly Bézout domain (for each nonzero finitely generated ideal I of R, there exists an n ≥ 1 so that the ideal In = ({ini set membership, variant I}) is principal) is almost Bézout and give an example of an almost Bézout domain that is not nearly Bézout.
