A study of the vertical diffusion of 7Be in the atmosphere

The study of the mean vertical concentration profile and of the wet and dry deposition of cosmogenic radionuclides can give information about the vertical transport in the troposphere and stratosphere and the microphysical process of incorporation of aerosol particles by cloud droplets. This paper presents two schemes to calculate the vertical concentration profile of 7Be up to a height of 30km above ground. A satisfactory agreement between the results of the model and the measurements of annual mean 7Be concentrations was highlighted.
