A note on iterative method for solving nonlinear functional equation

In this paper, we present an efficient numerical method to solve nonlinear functional equations based on the iterative method of Daftardar-Gejji and Jafari. The proposed method is applied to nonlinear ordinary differential equations and is compared with the standard homotopy perturbation method and with the Adomian decomposition method. Numerical illustrations are investigated to show the reliability and efficiency of the proposed method.
