On a Conjecture of Kleitman and Lemke Original Research Article

D. Kleitman and P. Lemke set the following conjecture: any sequence S of G elements of a finite group G contains a non-empty subsequence S′ with sum zero and cross number k(S′) ≤ 1. We show that this holds true for all finite abelian groups.
